“We are back!”
– Pat Rosen owner of Kelowna Cycle.

On Dec 2nd – 2011 at 10:17pm, Rosen arrived at the scene after being alerted that his beloved store was on fire.

170 days later Kelowna Cycle is back.

GET READY FOR THE RED CARPET, BIKE EVENT OF THE YEAR

The newly renovated store on Pandosy will offer new and current clients of Kelowna Cycle all the amenities bikers have longed for.

Saturday May 12th the doors re-open to a state of the art store that features a bike fitting studio, a bike wash, a coffee lounge that makes the world’s greatest Italian cappuccino, a Kaizen inspired bike repair section and of course some of the biggest names in the bike world on display.

“This has been one of the hardest periods of my life but I have learned so much,” say Rosen.

“I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of the greatest staff a bike shop owner could ask for, Mike, Tannille, Dave, Shane, David, Scott, Ryan, Lucas, Stef, Cody and Fergie. These are the people that made KC what it is today, an institution embedded in the core of Kelowna since 1948. I love what we created, a little store that has helped so many. Whether it’s the customers we helped once or a hundred times, I’m grateful to have been fortunate enough to help them reach a dream of owning a bike they love. I couldn’t have done this alone; everyone is part of the success of the new Kelowna Cycle, thank you.”

We have risen!
